Group Pickup

Users may pickup another extension that is ringing within there call group. Call groups are defined within the customer panel under each extension. Please note that the group pickup feature only works for the first group name listed under the extension.

To access this feature. Pickup your handset and dial *8 when another handset is ringing within your group.

For example, all the users in the accounting department can be in a callgroup. A user in a callgroup can perform a “call pickup” (or an “intercept”) of a ringing phone belonging to another user who is also in the callgroup.
